menu bar
dumb thing.
i was trying to edit the properties of the menu bar, and accidentally thinking i had clicked on an empty space for one when it was a program window bar, I accidentally clicked on 'remove from panel'. Now I have programs running that if i minimize them, i can't resize them because i can't see them.

someone? a little help here?

What panel and/or menu bar are you talking about - Firefox? The status bar at the bottom of a Linux screen? The panel bar at the top of a Linux screen?

Try right-clicking with your mouse on the menu bar and take it slower this time when doing anything to modify it.
