Copying Linux Files to Windows Under Backtrack Hi All:
Very new to Linux, so please be gentle!
I have a copy of Backtrack on CD, which I boot to upon power up. After loading, and entering startx (after logging in as root), I can see files under the Konqueror storage medium in my C drive (shows label as hd1), which are Windows files.
I then connect a USB hard drive formatted with Linux. It shows up as hard disk sda2, and has files on it. I want to copy a file from the USB drive to my C drive (it is a video .tsp file that I will later convert to MPEG in the Windows world).
When I attempt to drag & drop, I get the following:
"You cannot drop items in a directory in which you do not have write permission"
As far as I know I am in as an admin. Any advice on how I can make this happen?
