Faxes
Is there a way to receive faxes on your computer and have them printed out on a regular printer and having the ability to scan them in and send them out as faxes to a regular fax on a linux machine?

Hi num,

Fax software, to my understanding, may require running a fax client-server to send and receive faxes via a computer - Linux or otherwise. To have the faxes printed out on a regular printer, and also have the ability to scan in and send out as faxes to a regular fax on a linux machine would require that functionality in the fax software.

I recommend you look into FaxMail (free) here. I am not sure it will do all of what you want, but in the process of getting it running your understanding of fax software will surely increase.
