| Hi into9rod, What versions of Ubuntu and Firefox are you running? What Firefox add-on extensions do you have? In Firefox (try a new tab), type in the following text to your address/location bar: about  luginsI am showing the latest versions for Linux Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon) Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_04-b12 Shockwave Flash - File name: libflashplayer.so - Shockwave Flash 9.0 r115 If you have previous versions of either Java or Shockwave Flash, then you need to uninstall them and download and install the latest versions. I use Firefox add-on NoScript to control JavaScript - I recommend it highly to you if you do not currently have it. Typically, by running NoScript you can also control receiving video like that from YouTube. If you have a slow dialup connection, you won't have the performance to download YouTube videos, and will need to upgrade your service to cable or DSL modem or FiOS for faster downloads. -- Tom
