Setting up internet
Hey, i have recently installed Xubuntu on my old laptop:

-i have a dilemma, i am currently connected to the internet on this laptop, could i use a LAN cable or a phone line from this laptop to my other one with Xubuntu in order for me to connect to the internet on the one with xubuntu? i am running windows vista on this laptop.

If it is possible does anybody know how i would go about doing it?

Thanks Rick

I suppose you could use a splitter of some type - but you would only be able to use one computer on the internet at a time...so it would be easier to just switch the cable from computer to computer.
Or buy a router, maybe go wireless.
