Exclamation apache-ssl on TSL 1.01, 1.1, and 1.2: June 20
Hiya

To continue support for maintaining older versions of the distribution, we
have to discontinue the apache-ssl package as the apache package now provides
the same functionality.

By doing so, we get to use more resources on developing new versions, which
we think is a good thing.

This also enables us to release updates at the same time for all versions, as
the mod_ssl team have been somewhat faster in releasing security-updates than
the apache-ssl team.

The best way to upgrade for people using apache-ssl is the following:

1. Backup the httpsd-configuration located in /etc/httpsd
2. Backup the main html documents located in /home/httpsd
3. Deinstall the package with 'rpm -e apache-ssl'
4. Upgrade to the new apache 'rpm -Uvh apache-{devel-,}1.3.26-1tr.i586.rpm'
5. Reconfigure apache to support ssl.
6. Move the old html-files into /home/httpd
7. Restart apache
