Question VGA drivers
I'm using an MSI motherboard and the model is MS-6378 based on VIA Apollo KLE133 chipset. The most terrible thing that could happen was that the Drivers' Cd didnt have any drivers for Linux OS. I installed RedHat Linux 7.2 and am not getting the GUI. Is there any way by which I can change the VGA card configuration or any other means by which I can get the GUI??? Please suggest...

If you are able to login (and receive a shell prompt), try typing startx to run the X-window system. In general, you should not need special video drivers for Linux; X already knows quite a bit about many, many video cards, and chances are that you're not seeing the GUI because of a configuration issue. Post back with the results and we'll go from there.

Any info appreciated. Hope this helps.

Thanks but...
Hi codejockey,
Thanks for the suggestion. I got the shell prompt and when I typed the startx command my monitor's power LED suddenly started blinking and it never stopped and the screen turned blank. So I had to do a cold reboot. I want to know if there is any other way... Any suggestion would be appreciated
