can't hear sound in Linux help
Hi i am using mandrake 8.2
and creative sb pci128 sound card
the computer detects the sound card and list the chip as ensoniq ES1370
it is using irq 9.
but i can't hear anything from it when i play files.
i don't understand why it happens

Have you started the kmix utility and increased the volume? Mine seems to need turning up higher in linux than it does in Windows.
