Unhappy Feel stupid
i finally got linux to install on my computer.

it is "Gentoo Linux, i686"

now i feel stupid because i only know DOS commands!!

i want to be able to upload a frontpage website from my windows computer, and have my new linux machine act as a server. so....... if youve done this b4, or know what to do, drop me a line.

I'm thinking you want to install samba and apache.
Apache is the best web server you can get,plus it's free and on your iso/cd.
Samba is the smb/cifs server for a windows/linux network.
This command guide is pretty good.
Hope this points you in the right direction.
