If I install DragonLinux onto a Win 98 machine, will it take over??? I mean will I still be able to run Windows? If so, how? I want to have windows be my default OS but like only have DragonLinux come up some of the time. Please help, if u go to www.linux.org u can find info on DragonLinux.

When given the option during install as to where to put the Linux bootloader(Grub or Lilo) choose the MBR.That'll give you a selection screen at boot time so you can select win98 or DragonLinux.Most likely it will make Linux the default but if you get that far it can be changed to make win98 the default.HTH

As already posted by lynch all you would have to do is select the 'DOS' or 'Win' or whatever the title says as the default OS when you configure your bootloader during installation.

Try that and get back...
