Unhappy LAn card driver instalation
Hi!

I need to change my NIC to this Mandrake 8.2 box & I'm preventing how to install the drivers before i Made the change.

I'm newbie at Linux.

What brand of NIC? Install the NIC and configure it after you get it installed.Chances are Mandrake 8.2 has the NIC module you need already installed in the kernel.Mandrake has some nice GUI tools for configuring NICs so,unless you have somthing WAY off brand,it shouldnt be much trouble.
