Need help with installing pcmcia adapter agere.orico
this is the pcmcia wireless card that I am currently using from agere.
http://www.2wire.com/support/tech_su...d_drivers.html

This is the link where I downloaded the drivers and information.
http://www.agere.com/support/drivers/

I'm currently installing this in a dell 8200 Inspiron with Mandrake 8.2 I downloaded the pcmcia-cs-3.2.1.tar.gz from http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ftp/ and followed the installation procedures and it installed successfully supposedly, but I must have done something wrong . I am unable to completely configure the pcmcia card due to my inexperience with Linux. Any help would be appreciated

I think the instructions that have been provided have been very helpful but there must be something that I am missing. I do get 2 loud beeps but no lights on the card at all and no connection. I think the problem i'm having is which files I need exactly configure and what I need to modify in them. Thank you for your time and appreciation.
