Codec-v [Moved Thread]
I had to download codec-v in order to watch an online movie. Does anyone know why? Is it possible to watch the movie without codec-v?

According to Google Search, Codec-V is malware. See this:

The video website you visited told you that you needed Codec-V to play the video, when in fact that was just to trick you into putting malware on your PC. I guess you're online protection software either isn't very good, out-of-date, or you don't have any such protection. You should post on the malware forum for instructions on how to remove it. Actually no need to post again, we can move the thread just like I did. In the future Pip22, ask the user to report the thread to be moved.
