Blabbers Browser Companion
I recently purchased a used computer running XP SP3. In the Program Files there is a folder titled Browser Companion which contains BCHELPER.EXE. I understand that this may be malware of some sort although I cannot find anything concrete online. Can anyone advise me on this. I have untagged BCHELPER.EXE in MSCONFIG Startup.

Regards,
Bastun

This usually falls under one of those open to debate toolbars. It's nothing serious, more of a useless annoyance. Testing of its file have come back 95% safe.

If it's not listed in Add or Remove Programs, you can just delete the folder.
