Ok so I use the Firefox web browser and I get several DNS error on sites that are usually clean such as facebook.com or hijackthis.com.

So this problem might already be answered so I apologize if it is.

The only antivirus software I have is the avast.com one and I only use the home/free version.

I have windows 7, 64 bit. Any other computer specifications needed feel free to ask.

Should I change my banking passwords on another clean computer? Any recommendations for some free or for $$$$ antivirus software and/or anti-malware software other then avast? Do I want to enable the windows 7 automatic update crap or is that not important to have on? Thanks.
