Hi
Please could you help with my desktop screen problem. Periodically after logging in the screen on my dell inspiron 1545 64 bit OS goes blank and I cannot access the desktop page. I have managed to get the screen back by putting the computer in safe mode and using restore point system. But I have noticed each time this is becoming more difficult to do. The internet does not seem to work properly i.e will not start pages will not open up use both firefox and internet explorer and signal is strong. Also cursor jumps around and freezes. Hope you can help.

Before we go any further you need to remove Avast as this will be causing conflicts with MSE. It is never advisable to have two Anti Virus programs on your system.

Please use Safe Mode if you need to and uninstall Avast from Programs and Features via the Control Panel, then run this tool:
Avast removal tool
Once done see if anything has improved and post back.
