Please go Here and follow the instructions to run DDS, then Copy and Paste both the logs into your next reply. You need not run HJT or GMER.

Then please run this:

Please download Farbar Service Scanner and run it on the computer with the issue.
  • Put a check mark in all the boxes.
  • Press "Scan".
  • It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please copy and paste the log into your reply.
__________________
Please Copy & Paste scan results into your replies, DO NOT send them as attachments or in Code or Quote boxes unless asked to.

As you have installed AVG you need to decide if you wish to keep it or McAfee, you cannot run a system well with two Anti Virus programs installed even if you have one of them disabled. Tell me which one you are uninstalling so I can give you the link for the clean up tool to remove the remnants.

I see in your programs list BitTorrent, using P2P file sharing and downloading files from an unknown source is a good way to get your PC infected, I would advise you to remove the program, but if you insist on keeping it DO NOT use it until we are done.

Please uninstall this program: SweetIM for Messenger 3.5 as it is known Adware.

Pleas also uninstall your version of Java as it is very out of date and poses a security risk, we will install the latest version when we are done.

Please tell me how well the system is running now and describe any remaining issues.

Forgot to ask, did you set up a Proxy server, the address gives a name of Excel Telecommunications.

And one more thing, the logs show you had a Blue Screen of Death on the 23rd 26th and 27th of this month that you have not mentioned. Please follow this to post the minidumps so I can analyze them.

First locate your minidump files, open Windows Explorer and click on the C: drive in the left pane, in the right pane look down the list of folders and double click on Windows to view its contents. NOTE: If your operating system is installed under a different drive letter then look there. Scroll down the contents of the Windows folder and look for a folder called minidump and double click on it. You should now see the minidump files which will have a .dmp extension.

Zip up at least 6 of the most recent files into one zip folder (if there are less then just zip up what you have).

NOTE: To zip up the files in Windows (all versions). Right click the file, click on Send To, and then click
Compressed (zipped) Folder. That will create a zip folder containing a copy of the file, you should see it appear.

If there is more than one .dmp file click on the first one, hold down the shift key and then click on the last one. That should highlight all the files. Then right click in the highlighted area, click on Send To, and then click Compressed (zipped) Folder.

  • Below the Message Box click on Go Advanced. Then scroll down until you see a button, Manage Attachments. Click on that and a new window opens.
  • Click on the Browse button, find the zip folder you made earlier and click on it so it becomes highlighted and click on Open.
  • Now click on the Upload button. Wait for the Upload to complete, it will appear just below the Browse box.
  • When done, click on the Close this window button at the top of the page.
  • Enter your message-text in the message box, then click on Submit Message/Reply.

Ok, run a scan with RogueKiller again and when complete hit the ProxyFix button, whe done click on Report and post the log.

Observe the version of AVG you are using and then uninstall it in the normal way, then download and run the clean up tool from here: AVG Removal tool You must select the correct tool to match the version of AVG installed and the bit rate (32 or 64bit).

See how IE10 is after the Proxy has been removed.

The earlier crash dump was before you had Service Pack 1 installed so we can ignore that one, but the other three all show a problem with the driver Netio.sys which is internet related. Please check if there is an updated driver available for your Wireless card.

Have you removed AVG and run the clean up tool?

Please post the RogueKiller log, it will have been saved on your C: drive.

Have you removed SweetIM and Java as requested in post 21?

Ok, please go here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700

Scroll down the page and find the instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 10, this will put your system back to IE9, please then try IE9 and see if it works ok and let me know.
