Google search results:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...q=Finis_it.txt

Not many hits, but it might have a clue. I didn't read them.

Did you open the file to see what it is? Open with notepad. And right click and read properties.

possible virus?
here is a picture of the following directory:

c:\hp\bin

I don't know how it got there, nor what it is, so please help me!

also, there is a txt file called finis_it.txt in the c:directory that I believe just appeared,( but I have a seperate post about that one, so nevermind.)

Lastly, in C:\hp there are two batch-files that I don't recognize called

PRNUNIN and SJUNIN what are these?

check out the attachment for the list of files. I really have no idea what they are, and the names of some of them have me really worried. I've run norton and almost any ad-search software I can get my hands on, but everything says my system is ok. Please help, I've been going on my sensitive sites (bank acct etc.) for a month now, because I don't rust what norton has been telling me. If youve heard anything about these file, please respond. thanks

~Jeff

_vti_pvt
Anybody know what _vti_pvt is?

If you look it up on dogpile, and click on almost any of the results, you downolad a virus. Norton finds it, but says it can't be fixed. Norton calls it a trojan horse, but there is no more info. what's up?

thanks jeff

Jeff as these are all related issues let's keep them in one thread and not post separate questions for each.
