Thanks Just one more question - I have two items on my deaktop that are kinda see though. They are labeled "desktop" and "Thumbs". I didn't want to delete them without asking, as they may be important for the computer. I noticed that they appeared after I was in the "safe mode". Any suggestions?

You just need to reverse the Folder Options > View settings we applied earlier.

Click on My Computer. Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and uncheck "Show hidden files and folders" then put a check by "Hide protected operating system files". Now click "Apply to all folders"
Click "Apply" then "OK"

After that those files won't be visible.
