Why Does My Macafee Firewall Keep Shutting Down ?
Hi just wondered if i had a bug becuase my firewall keeps shutting down

i have spybot and adaware and spyblaster etc etc could someone please look at my log and comment ?

Maybe because it's McAfee?

There's nothing on your log. This just may be a conflict with McAfee.

Go here for an online AV scan:

Scan "Local Disks" and when finished save the scan log and post that log here, okay?

i removed macafee and booted up again viruscan found the following virus


W32.Generic.worm!p2p

couldnt delete or quarantine any ideas it said it had something to do with hijackthis?

Okay, go ahead and manually delete this file:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\internet ford okay htm\meetbold.exe

That worm identified by McAfee was removed and is in HJT backup folder, so it's okay.

Looks like your clean from any malware issue, so your firewall problem must be some sort of a bug or software conflict.
