Avast alleges Trojan Netbus-N infection
Hi folks,

According to Avast home free AV I have a file C:\QUICKRST\Basediff.inp infected with a trojan 'Win32: Netbus-N' - see screenshot of Avast warning message attached as a jpg.

This file 'Basediff.inp' is over 200 Mb in size so difficult if not impossible to upload to an online AV file scanner to check against other AVs - maybe I can use a filesplitter to break it down - but would that compromise possible detection of the trojan if I submit the file in chunks?

TrojanHunter does not report any infection in this file.

I've googled 'QUICKRST' and 'Basediff.inp' and they don't seem to be anything readily identifiable which perhaps makes them more suspicious but I guess not necessarily so. Also these appear to have been classified as system files as they were initially hidden until I checked 'show all system files'. I am running WinXP-SP2.

There are other files in the QUICKRST folder but no infection reported by Avast for these.

Any help very gratefully received thank you
