I see you've still got both CA and AVG anti-virus programs. This can cause a problem.

Please go to Start - Run - type in eventvwr.msc to open the event viewer. Look under both "application" and "system" for recent errors shown in red and if found, do this for each one.

Double-click the error to open it up and then click on the icon that looks like two pieces of paper. This will copy the full error. Then "paste" the error into Notepad. Do this for each one until you have them all listed in Notepad and then copy and paste the list in a reply here please.

You also still have a component of Norton and that should be removed.

Click the following link and run the removal tool for the product you had:

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...05033108162039

When you tried to uninstall CA, did you do so via the Control Panel? At what step did you run into problems with the uninstall?

a window pops up saying

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'CAPF.msi' in the box below.

You will probably have to reinstall CA and then uninstall it. As it is now, it's missing some components.
