Solved: Internet connection??
Hi,
I have an acer laptop which has lost internet connection. I believe it has an infection of some kind. Unable to connect to the net - When explorer opened it closes and then tries to download a file. Makes no difference whether saved or canceled. Internet options has lost some of the tabs as well.
Have scanned with spybot and nod32. Some malware removed.. No change to I.E.
Have run Combofix (New download to desktop and disabled anti-virus before running.) No change.

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

Thanks for advice but already taken the wipe and recovery option on drive so thread can be closed.. AL..
