Hi Guys,
this is my first post here so please b gentle!!

I'm tryin to help my brother fix his laptop.. the problem is that IE is running really really slow. We've ran mcafee, adaware, spybot, cwshredder, stinger among others adn no luck with fixing it. All are coming up clean now.

Its not the internet connection because i've installed Firefox and it runs perfectly, it seems to be just an IE problem.

Basically when you open IE the homepage won't show for over 2mins at least, the same happens with new tabs. Once it does kick in it seems to work correctly (apart from new tabs/windows)

i'm not sure what other information would be useful for here.. em..its on XP. if you need more info please ask
