I have what I believe to be a serious problem with my computer and would greatly appreciate any help that can be provided. I have a gateway gt4026e desktop with a pentium d processor and am running windows xp. My spy sweeper says it is detecting Trojan-ace-x viruses and the Virtumonde virus. My computer is freaking out on me. A few seconds after start-up my desktop icons go away and my start menu no longer has the all programs list. The only thing I can do with my computer for anything more than 2 min. is run the internet thankfully. Please help me!! Here is my HJT list :
