Unable to Run virus programs and get help online
First, reading a few post tells me right away this is a great website.

I have a computer running windows XP that got infected (or has spyware) and now is preventing me from running spybot search and destroy and is also preventing me from going on the internet for help. If I enter trendmicro.com for example, the sites I get are shopping sites. I don't get pop-ups but the workstation is limited as some work programs do not work now.

I was reading a members question and it seemed very similar to my problem, but it seemed that the answers were specific to his machine, so I did not want to make my problems worse by following the solutions. Althought I was tempted. It involved going to device manager and seeing if TDSSserv.sys was present in my machine. I did and it was. The tech guy JSntgRvr attached a Jumpstart_C folder, which I downloaded but I stopped after that because I thought the solutions were specific to his machine.

So I hope a tech guy can help me with this problem. If you need more information, I will be happy to answer you back.

Thanks in Advance,
Luis
