Spyware and redirect problems
I started having problems with my computer a couple of days ago, when I searched and tried some freeware that would allow me to convert .wmv files to .3p2 files...
Yesterday morning I really got attacked with MS Spyware 2009 messages and I think I took care of it. (I did a Google search and a video that gave me a suggestion of what to do). Keep in mind, everything I typed to solve this problem gave me a new redirect problems, it was frustrating.
I immediately tried navigate to this website.., but when I clicked my bookmark, I was redirected. When I did Google searches I was redirected... nothing was working. I tried downloading several malware programs that said they were free, but when I downloaded them and performed the scans... I found out they weren't.
Then my Mozilla started running slower and slower. So I stated working IE (which was still loaded on my machine). It worked well and I was able to navigate, a little. I was still redirected when I did my search to this website, but I was able to navigate to different tech support website.
So I created a user name and posted my problem, last night. I checked my post this morning... no responses. Still frustrated, I started searching other posts on the other tech support website, did a couple of changes someone else suggested for another guy and it's working better. (I disabled some non plug and play device on my computer or something like that). The next step for that other guy was to post a HackThis log.... but I didn't do that, frankly because no one suggested it. Heck, at least I was able to navigate to this website for the first time.
Please help...
