I own a Dell Windows Vista, a popup appeared that said initiating a scan, and, knowing something was wrong i "exed out". then it redirected me to a page which i knew was downloading something even though the page made it look like it was scanning something and i saw that there was a virus on my computer after i used Mcafee to scan. the virus is a generic.dx Trojan, and i need to get rid of it. i have downloaded hijackthis... and am going to post my log. if any further info is needed to help me then please tell me. I really hope someone can help, because i dont want my computer to be damaged any further than it might be. my log is as follows:
