Windows Problem Virus? Microsoft Access?
Hello there a friend of mine pointed me in the direction of this website as im a little stuck and was after a little help!

So last week i got a little virus hundreds of pop ups. I then switched my pc off only for it not to turn back on windows just kept kinda clicking over and restarting before getting to the main screen.
I tried going in on safe mode but it wasnt happening so i decided to re-install windows.
So this all goes fine get my computer to turn back on and although its completely bare its working!
I re-install my cable broadband and set about re-installing all the old programmes. Which is when i get my problem any time i try to access a microsoft site to download an update for say windows media player i just get this.

Address Not Found
Firefox can't find the server at www.microsoft.com.

Also when i go on google to go on a website its linking me to all kinds of rubbish youtube videos and plenty of spyware antivirus adverts instead of the page im trying to get to.
Ive run both Search and destroy and Malwarebytes. But im still getting the same problem.

This is my HijackThis log
