| Need guidance on IE Expl & Firefox redirects Hi, this is my first post. I've searched the forums for the resolution to the redirects I get on IE Explorer and Firefox when using Google search. Seems the solutions are individual specific, so I need some guidance. I followed the direction in this post: http://forums.techguy.org/malware-re...er-hijack.html, up until the directions to check and fix specific items in HJT (I ran fixwareout and rebooted, then ran HJT). So this is where I need help. I should note that I've been having DNS issues with other computers on my network and shortly after I began getting redirects, some sort of trojan for "Spyware Protect 2009" got into my computer and was giving me popups every minute. Really intrusive virus. I managed to stop that, but I'm not sure it has been completely cleaned out or just interrupted. Thanks for any help, Doug Here are the log files from fixwareout and HJT.
