Hi, this is my first post. I've searched the forums for the resolution to the redirects I get on IE Explorer and Firefox when using Google search.

Seems the solutions are individual specific, so I need some guidance. I followed the direction in this post: http://forums.techguy.org/malware-re...er-hijack.html, up until the directions to check and fix specific items in HJT (I ran fixwareout and rebooted, then ran HJT). So this is where I need help.

I should note that I've been having DNS issues with other computers on my network and shortly after I began getting redirects, some sort of trojan for "Spyware Protect 2009" got into my computer and was giving me popups every minute. Really intrusive virus. I managed to stop that, but I'm not sure it has been completely cleaned out or just interrupted.
