[E_Diddy]

Hello,

I'm a novice but I know something is up with my laptop, avg won't startup along with other programs straight away (they do not appear in the notification area) and when I've been looking on the net to find the solution I also found out avg won't update and I can no longer get any windows updates, it just hangs.... I've also discovered I can't anything from the run menu commands like cmd and regedit.

I've managed to manually update avg and run a virus check, but nothing comes up and I've run registry checks, spyware/malware and nothing comes up.
