Please help with trojan virus!!!

My PC has recently been infected with the trojan virus Packed.Win32.Tdss

It seems to be re-directing when i click on google searches (this happens with both Firefox and Windows IE). I am currently using F-Secure 2009 and when i run a full scan it finds the virus, but then my computer shuts down before I have time to act.

One answer I got to this problem was attempting to run a scan in safe mode. However, when I try that, I am unable to even open F-Secure.

Any help what so ever would be greatly appreciated I'm going out of my mind >.<
