Exclamation Need Urgent Help!
Hello,

I turned my laptop on today to find that a startup program had been blocked, i checked out what it was, it's called:

Setup.exe,
the Display name & Publisher is: exec

Also, i did think that it was just a windows file, but then i wondered, Why would windows block it's own files, and if the computer's working fine with the file blocked, its probably not a windows file.

So, i searched the internet, and only found one peice of info on it,
apparently its a file that will store all of my passwords and credit card details (or anything that i typed into forms) and then the publishers of the file can see what ive typed into those forms.

Problem is, I don't want to go deleting it because if it IS an important file, i don't want to have to do things to my laptop.

PLEASE HELP
Thanks

This is a malware issue. I'm not qualified to help you remove it as per TSG's rules. However I've requested that your thread be moved to the Malware Removal forum, so qualified members will provide assitance to you there.

Best of luck!
