Well This computer was given to me as a last resort and I know it doesnt have that great of a system on it but it has what I need. Im a Graphic Arts Student and I Use Graphic Software on my system.
I am Constantly On Yahoo messanger, Jasc Paint Shop Pro, and Opera Internet ( usually with only 1 page up at a time).
When I had gotten my Computer.. We changed our internet Service to Verizon DSL , and My Brothers Computer is Hooked up to the Router, While I have a wireless USB connection to the Router.
Our Internet has been Going Extremely slow lately and he tells me the Ping is super high and that we must be downloading stuff alot..and We aren't. Webpages load very quickly and we have had no Issues Up until now.
My Problem is, Is that I let a Very Trusted Person Fix My Computer, And he Put everything on my computer that I needed.
I googled some of the "exe" files and saw that I had some Virus Processes Running.
My CPU will Bounce from 0% to sometimes as high as 30%, I have about 31 Processes and thats With Nothing But Norton Anti Virus and My Opera Internet running.
I had Viruses called csrss.exe that were trojans and I Used Norton to uninstall all the files with that.
My Internet bounces from good to bad and I have a Stable Connection, and Its starting to Affect the other household Computer.
I Run yahoo Messanger, Paint shop Pro, and Opera Internet through out the Day, and Those are my only true processess.
Ive ran Norton Anti Virus Alot and No More Viruses have popped up but Im still having Computer issues with high CPU, Processes, and my Brother is Saying the PING on his Computer is Super High when I get on Myspace and what not.
Ive also ran a Norton Tool and it says My Optimization Alarm is at 75%-95% and that Varies as well.
What all do i need to do . PLEASE HELP.
* I know this is a very RANDOM post, and Im trying my hardest to be specific..But I need to ask opinions on what to do because I have No Viruses Norton says, But I had found Random trojans in my processes. Which have been fixed with Norton CleanSweep.
What else..Please Help.
