Hello,

Within the past 3 weeks my computer has started to randomly shut off, showing a blue screen immediately before shut down, mostly when I try to run a few specific programs such as Skype and Logitech webcam. I know that several viruses were introduced to my computer during this time via USB memory sticks which were eventually caught by AdAware and McAfee. However, I am not sure if there still remain more viruses on my computer or if the viruses that were caught made serious changes to my computer. The frequency of the Blue Screen shutdown caused me to try and do a System Restore. However my System Restore will not run from the Start menu, from a command line, or even from a command line in safe mode, all of which I have tried. Furthermore, the System Restore tab is missing when I right click My Computer and go to Properties. I am pretty sure that whatever trojans or worms were on my computer caused some serious damage. Hi again, Im still having problems but I wanted to post some more information that will hopefully help. The viruses I found on my computer, which have been removed but I am worried caused system changes, are the following:

W32/Autorun.worm.h
Generic!atr (Trojan)
Generic Downloader.b (Trojan)
W32/Autorun.worm.ev

Could these viruses have prevented me from running system restore (which I can't do)? Could they still be causing blue screen shutdowns?
