Exclamation HELP!!!! computer gone crazy ... SECOND POST ! THE OTHER ONE CLOSED
I tried downloading the antivirus thing to take off that virus the guy thought it was but when i download something it doesnt work...
Help please. About 2 days ago i turned on my computer and hardly any thing would work. when it turned on it said Error file something isn't working and stuff like that. It kept saying that every 5 seconds for like a minute. Then i tryed to go on the internet and it didnt work, so i tryed the 64 bit internet and it worked. After that i checked to see if there were any viruses but the virus scan wasnt working so i used the other one that came with my computer and it said there were no viruses. So i tryed to go on Msn Messenger and my name and password wasnt saved so i typed it in and clicked start and it said it wasnt working so i couldnt go on Then i thought the least i could do was go on itunes and listen to music but that wasnt working Either, it said Install and then it showed and error message So i went on youtube and it would let me watch Videos because Java or Latest flash player want installed, so i installed both of them and it still didnt work. I tried to go on sims 2 but all my expansion packs or the game wouldnt work SO PLEASE HELP!!!! If you know how to fix it or what happened please post coments. PS: my computer is BRAND NEW i got it like 2 or 3 months ago !!!!

i don't know how honest i was with you but all your .exe files infected are impossibe to turn back.......you have to clear your system from this virus and then you have to install all your programs that the virus infected.....

The admin closed the other topic. I'm not sure if you should open another one. Although on the other hand, I kinda feel sorry for you if your PC is screwed.

Perhaps if you stop triple posting, and promise us you did not download illegal software then this topic will be allowed....

Assuming you didn't, as you were told, you need to format. If you've got an XP disk then reboot onto that disk and run through the windows install again.

If you're willing to lose everything - documents, programs etc you need to put the Vista/XP/Win7 disk in your computer and boot to it.

You need to run through the installer (it should be self explanatory from htere).

I'm not in a hurry to help you until a mod/admin replies, because I don't want to get in trouble for responding to what is essentially a closed topic.

that was my idea that you clean your windows vista and then you can backup all your
in an external hdd or usb and then you can do a safe restore...

Aah.

Now, admins/mods please delete this if it's wrong, but as far as I'm aware it's legal to borrow a Vista disk and use your serial number (on the base of your laptop), as your laptop is licensed for Vista (if you bought it from a reputable company and it came with vista it will be).

Basically, you need a vista disk.
