i am working with an extremely slow machine that probably contains unnecessary programs and possibly malware or spyware. running windows xp, recently defragged the hard drive and performed a disc cleanup. i need assistance with removing any further processes or programs that are affecting the performance of my system or could be potentially harmful. i am including my hjt log. i am also currently performing a panda active scan and will post the results of that once it is complete. any assistance in this matter is much appreciated in advance.

Please download (save) SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your desktop. SmitfraudFix runs under W2K, XP only.

Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop. Select all of the contents and Extract them
to a new folder called SmitfraudFix.
Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
