Exclamation Random ads, "Congratulations, you have been selected to win .... !" and random music.
Recently my computer has been having some odd symptoms, causing me to believe it is infected with something. Out of no where, music started playing the other day. To make sure it wasnt something in my Internet (I use Firefox) I closed it and made sure everything else was closed through task manager. Oddly enough, there was an IE7 window open, well the task manager said there was. This music has not happened again, but other things have been happening.

Sometimes, random IE7 windows will open, displaying an ad about something. Also, voiceups will start playing, when I have nothing open but a Firefox window, which is not the cause of it. These voiceups say something about a new Olay lotion or something or other, as well as "Congratulations, you have been selected to win a $1,000 Wal-Mart gift card!"

I removed IE7 from my computer (I never use it) and the pop up ads have stopped. Obviously, this didn't solve the problem, just stopped one of the symptoms.

Can somebody help me out? Thank you in advance for any help.

EDIT: Something else just happened. I guess I had not completely removed Internet Explorer. Some random audio started playing, involving moans and sighs. It seemed like audio from porn. I opened Internet Explorer, and looked at the history. There are several pornographic websites that had been visited, and tons of ads. That was todays history. I also looked at yesterday's history, and the same stuff was there. There was also a few websites visited on Monday, but past that, it was only My Computer that had been visited, as I never, ever use Internet Explorer. This is really worrying me, can somebody help? Thank you tons.

EDIT: After telling Internet Explorer to use a proxy server 0.0.0.0, it cannot access the internet. That was what I was trying to accomplish. Now it can't get to websites like the ones previously mentioned (I am sorry if it offended anybody, but I had to share it). However, it still opens and reads "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage," with "javascript:clickRefresh()" in the address bar. This was just an update, and I would appreciate it if somebody could help me.

I apologize for the excessive amount of text.
