Lightbulb iTunes Trojan Virus
Yesterday my AVG (Ann. Edition Free) told me that i had a Trojan in an itunes file. I immediately thought to try and remove the infection. However when i tried to do this my computer became unresponsive so i rebooted it. This time i tried to un-install the program however it tells me i have insufficient privileges to do so, (I am the administrater and only person who uses the computer, only my profile in the comp), i thought if i moves the files to the recycle bin and then tried to run the program it may just recreate the files needed and run fine however this proved not to be the case and i have since found that pretty much all files associated with it - excluding the music. Most files associated with itunes and Ipod (program files/itunes and program files/Ipod) are currently sitting it the recycle bin.

Download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
  • Under Main choose: Select All
  • Click the Empty Selected button.

Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.




Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

While updating malware the following message appeared. "An error occurred. Please report the following error code to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Support Team.

Error Code: 732 (0,0)

I often have trouble with my internet connection so it could just be that

no im not however when using task manager it will only let me view applications in use and the bar to change tabs to processes or performance and the close button is also missing. I think that this is realated
