So, a few days ago, I went on the web during downtime at work. I didn't actually get past google, because the computer shut down on me. I rebooted and got one of those lovely "YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED" Spyware adds. I closed it and it immediately began downloading.. something to the computer. I unplugged the Router, and tried to open Norton.. But it had completely disabled Norton, and made it so I couldn't open it at all, and by that time, had completely infected the computer.
I downloaded/ran Spyware Doctor, which was rather useless and found mostly nothing. Well, it found the trojans, but couldn't clean them out. A friend suggested MBAM, which I got and ran, and it claimed to have cleared out a few hijacker trojans, etc. He also suggested A-Squared, which seems to have cleaned out the rest, but.....
The computer is still booting very slow, I can't run Disk Deframenter (It gives no reason other than, it can't run), I can't defrag the registry, I can't run a check disk, and I reset the DNS on this computer and the router but I'm still getting google redirects and various other strange things. It also wouldn't allow me to do a sys restore previous to getting the trojans off. Now all the previous sys restores that were saved, are GONE.
I ran a root repeal, however I forgot to close firefox. I'll post the one I got with firefox running first. But please help me! I work for a bunch of people who barely know how to turn the computer on, and they're freaking out and talking about throwing out the computer. Lol >.<
*Edit*
Here's the HJT Log I have. I attached the Root Repeal Scan, but it doesn't seem to show up on my end as bieng attached. If I need to attach it again, let em know
