Question HijackThis log for Windows Defender Error
I posted a topic about Windows Defender here http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt...ml#post6876600

I've looked at the Event Viewer and noticed that every time I've turned my computer since 27/07/09 (I know I said 12 days
in the other post but I've just found my event viewer export), Windows Defender Real Time Protection hasn't been loading,
even though the WD icon is in the system tray.

each time I start the computer, it creates 3 Event Viewer "Error" messages:

Type: Error
Event ID: 3002

Windows Defender Real-Time Protection agent has encountered an error and failed to start.
User: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Agent: WindowsAddOnAgent
Error Code: 0x8007139f
Error description: The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation.

the other two are exactly the same but the Agent is different:
Agent: IEAddInsAgent
And;
Agent: IEConfigurationAgent

If I go to WD settings, uncheck the real time box, save settings and check the box
and save settings again, the event log shows that it the Real Time Protection has
started but when I restart the PC, I get another 3 error messeges in the log.

I have the latest version of Windows Defender and the Definition file is also up to date.

I have scanned my PC with my antivirus programs they found no infections
