Lightbulb Possible Trojan - Internet Explorer running slowly and crashing
Hi,

I am having problems with my computer where Internet Explorer 8 is running slowly and crashing. I have checked the event logs and noticed the following errors:

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 8.0.6001.18813, time stamp 0x4a6621ae, faulting module Flash10c.ocx, version 10.0.32.18, time stamp 0x4a613d79, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0023e55a, process id 0x85c, application start time 0x01ca2c79de31429a.

Failed to load the plug-in module. (GUID = {56F9312C-C989-4E04-8C23-299DEE3A36F5})(Error code = 0x80042019)

I am currently running Windows Vista and have Norton Antivirus installed. The internet explorer erro message above shows up in the log numerous times but often has a slightly different message e.g isntead of having Flash10.ocx it sometimes has other dll names.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks for your help.

Mike.
