Exclamation Everything Detected as Virus!
Today My friend was downloading a file and of course he did not know anything about it. It was p2p and I warned him about p2p and how its illegal and will infect his pc. He ignored me and now he has a nasty virus. He had avg and avg slowly started detecting everything as a virus such as notepad, cmd, mspaint, windows movie maker, etc. I installed kaspersky which detected everything as a virus and quarantined. I know these aren't viruses since later notepad, command prompt, paint, etc. would not run. Everything that I ran on his pc was detected as a virus and quarantined immediately. Is there a fix for this virus? it seems really nasty as the actual file doing this can't be found.
