hey hey
remember me?
we are back and running faster but wierd things still going on
the pages still slide down the screen rather than just closing and the names of pages on the bottom dont always match the adress bar. Im not sure I can explain what I mean by that except to say that the little gray area above the START will sometimes say like myspace something when I have a yahoo page open. Also a volume slide has just appeared out of nowhere as if I right clicked on the wee speaker but it shows up on the far left side.

I hope you have enjoyed your vacation hehe now its back to work huh?

thanks gee

Sounds strange for sure! I'm not quite sure what is going on but the most likely cause is user making changes. Try creating a new user and log on as that user and see if things are the same or normal.

From your PM
Quote:
I noticed that when my MSN loads one of the first things is waiting for about:blank .
Try this: Open tools, internet options, Advanced tab, click Restore Defaults.

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride =
*.local

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Remove the Yahoo Toolbar also from Add/Remove programs.
