Ive been away on orders for the last few months. When I came back home my girlfriend told me my PC would not allow IE to connect to the internet. This is kinda aggervateing because she shouldnt of been useing my rig in the first place. Come to find out that I believe the IE conntection issues is being caused by Trojan / Worm by the name of DeskTop Defender 2010. I have tried to remove it and it no longer prompts me to buy the program. I used AVG and Malwarebytes to attempt to remove it. IE still can not got to simple URL's like google.com. Programs can not update and games can not connect. But IE 64bit connects to the internet with no problem so I know it isnt my wireless connection. I have also noticed that there is alot of crap running in the background and I'm not sure what they are. My OS is Win XP x64 with SP2. The HJT log is below. If it can be fixed but would be better to wipe windows out and reinstall let me know. Reinstallation isnt a problem.
