Angry The internet is out again!
So I'm using the web browser and all of the sudden the pages don't show up, they are loading and showing the address in the address bar, but the pages stay blank. This happens to ALL of my browsers including Firefox, Internet Explorer, Steam, and iTunes.

Now what I find interesting is it has nothing to do with my internet connection (Diagnosed that) or my firewalls (Bitdefender firewall and Windows Defender firewall disabled.) Now when I'm in this state I entered https://youtube.com (Because when I ran my login macros the https sites worked) to see if it would work. And it did. My firefox said the site was blocked because the connection was not secure? But if this was true then wouldn't only Firefox be not working? So I make a certificate for it and I can pass it takes me to the google homepage. But then when I search something it loads but won't show.

Now all this can be fixed when I restart, but then I'd have to restart every time the "internet" went out every few hours.

it could be a virus or malware ... download and copy to the machine HJT (see signature for program) run and copy HJT log back to here

can you try ping tests

Virus?
So what do I do?.. can you give me step by step... I'm not all that tech savvy.

So Malware could be on my computer even if there are no pop ups?

Will it work with Bitdefender? Or do I have to disable that? And wouldn't Bitdefender catch the viruses? Or is Hjt better than Bitdefender....

It's happening less and less often now... btw.

Its a diagnostoc tool used by the Malware Shield gurus here

so if you could do the pings as requested
copy the HJT and run the log and copy back here

If you've tried etaf's suggestions to no avail, you might want to consider disabling BitDefender and try a couple of websites again. Could be the antivirus or a firewall setting.

Another possible culprit would be TuneUp Utilities. You may have used it to make the buffer sizes larger. You could try undoing the changes.

How do I fix my Buffer sizes with tuneup and Bitdefender isn't the problem, I've disabled firewall before and it still does the same.

And how do I ping google?

Oh my gosh... I just used Malwarebytes and found NOTHING at all. I've scanned with CCleaner and HighjackThis and all of them found nothing at all.

One suspicious thing is... when I scan with Bitdefender, I can't scan these "4 ocer-compressed items failed to be scanned. This type of objects are not an immediate threat to your system and can be scanned later of be skipped from scanning by adding them as exceptions in Antivirus>exceptions."

So how do I decompress those files so I scan it and see if it's the problem. Also I remember one time Bitdefender DID put some files into quarantine.

So can anyone help please.....

Woah woah woah. I looked at the log and it turns out the overcompressed files are game files. So I shouldn't suspect those (right?). Heroes of Newerth.....
