A couple of things, just to clarify:

1. When I do the start--run---ComboFix /u ... ComboFix is supposed to start up again correct, and I'm supposed to let it run through the scans again?

2. I removed RSIT, should I also remove OTM and ComboFix (after I do the last remaining step)?

3. I don't use Internet Explorer, I primarily use Firefox. Do you have any specific suggestions for Firefox that will help me maintain a clean system?

I think that's all the questions I had. Thank you so so so much, although it took a few days, it was time well spent and I sincerely appreciate you running through this all with me step-by-step and doing it so timely. Computer is looking good and I intend on keeping it that way!!!

It looks like it is starting again, but does not do the scans. It should only take a short time. Let me know if you have trouble and we can flush the restore points manually.

Sorry I missed the OTM instructions. They are posted below. If you mean the Combofix Icon on your desktop? It should go when you do the Combofix /u. If not delete the Icon.
  • Double-click OTM.exe. (Vista users, please right click on OTM.exe and select "Run as an Administrator")
  • Click the CleanUp! button.
  • Select Yes when the "Begin cleanup Process?" prompt appears.
  • If you are prompted to Reboot during the cleanup, select Yes.
  • The tool will delete itself once it finishes, if not delete it by yourself.

Sorry I don’t have specific instructions for FF.

Glad I was able to help
