Hello,
1st time posting, 1st time dealing with a virus. Have read about and tried the Malewarebytes anti-maleware and the ATF-cleaner...some others, none successful.
Dell XPS pentium 4 CPU 3.6 GHz 4.00GB (3.00 usable) Ram. Panda 2010 Pro notified about malicious software and W32/gaobot.oxi.worm during last few scans ...aparently that is all its going to do notify.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was running two 500 GB hard drives 1 with XP and other with Windows 7 RC. The XP hard drive blue screened and was unrepairable or unable to reinstall the XP OS. Continue to use drive with Win 7. Bought a new HD and again tried to install XP, was working all the way to the last step and then blue screen twice.
Hesitant to try to reinstall the Win 7 RC due to afraid the same thing will happen.
Also if the computer sits idle for 20 -30 minutes get the following message on a black screen:

Strike F1 key to cont or F2 to run setup
If I hit F1 wiil blue screen
If I hit F2 will go into setup
Either way have to manual shut down by holding start button and then select start windows normally.
Replaced internal battery as recommended by a friend no change.
Panda Scan still shows the W32/Gaobot.oxi.worm as notified.
Please any help would be most appreciated.
