Question Possible virus and no removal software.
Unfortunately, I do not have HijackThis.
The problem with my computer is that I cannot open .exe files (thus the reason I cannot download and install any programs to remove viruses).
I heard that I could change the .exe to a .com file, but I am unsure of how to do this, because the person that explained it didn't do a very good job.
I was wondering if someone could help me solve this problem, or tell me if there is a way to download and install a program without a .exe extension.
Any help would be appreciative.
If it does help, I have the program AVZ4...and there is a log generated with the program that I could paste here?
