I believe the DRIVER-SOFT detection is a false positive.

Please post a new HijackThis log.

My PC seems to be runnig pretty fast with no pop ups or virus problems.I thank you very much Cookiegal for your help and patience.....Before I mark this thread solved I have a few ????????...Let me know what you think.....

When I first start my PC or restart, and hit firefox to open it seems to take a long time to open as compared to other sites and programs. This last time it took almost 38 seconds to open which is a long time for me on this pc.

In post 5,flavallee asked my to DL HostXpert,is it still needed as I don't seem to see it on my PC..

In post 25,flavallee had me go into:Run-Services and disable anything that was AVG.Do I need to turn them back on.They were AVG Firewall,AVG Watchdog, and AVG9IDSAgent.

And last but not least,Are combofix and F-Secure online scanner something I can use in the future if I run into problems with other viruse.

Thanx again for all the help.....

You can refer back to flavallee's post no. 25:

http://forums.techguy.org/7241567-post25.html

and do the reverse to start those AVG releated entries up. Or you can uninstall and reinstall AVG completely.

One of the tools we ran reset your hosts file so HostXpert is no longe needed.

ComboFix must be uninstalled as it's a tool that only meant to be used under guidance and I will give you instructions on how to uninstall it properly. F-Secure is just an on-line scanner and you can run scans regularly just to keep watch on things.

As for Firefox, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling it first. Please try that and le me know how things are afterwards.
